Our story

Tables set for service in the dining room

The setting

Long lunches, slowevenings

Spice & Tide sits a few steps from the water on Grand Anse. Timber tables, an open sky, and a kitchen built around hardwood fire. Dinner here runs at the pace of the evening.

Rack of glazed ribs on a wooden board with sliced tomato

The cooking

Hardwood fire andisland produce

Fish landed the same day, dasheen leaves and seasoning peppers from nearby growers, nutmeg and rum from the island. Most of it passes over embers before it reaches your plate.

Dining room tables as the evening begins

The evening

Few tables, seated inone sitting

We seat a limited number of guests each night so the kitchen and the room stay calm. Book ahead, arrive before sunset if you can, and plan to stay a while.
